The Detroit Pistons are a mess right now and they’re desperately trying to figure out a way to right the ship. One way that could happen is to add a fresh body to the lineup to change things up, but the main way of making that happen would be through a trade and it seems the only player anyone wants is Greg Monroe — the one guy Detroit won’t trade.

Rodney Stuckey is struggling through the mess in Detroit with the Pistons, but that may not be swaying him towards leaving at the end of the season. Sam Amick from USA Today spoke with Stuckey who noted that he thought the Pistons aren’t on the same page, but didn’t rule out re-signing with the team.

Per Sam Amick of USA Today:

"”Detroit is always an option. It’s going to be a tough situation, the first time I’m going to be able to go out and test the market and see what else is there and what not. It’s going to be all new to me. I’m excited for the opportunity, but right now I’m not trying to focus on that. I’m just trying to live in the moment right now and worry about making the playoffs first and foremost.”"

His return next season isn’t a certainty, but the fact that he still seems open to it despite the turmoil is promising to fans that the right people might be coming back in 2014-15.
