The NBA trade deadline is less than a month away which means last minute strategies are being hammered out for potential contenders making potential trades. Teams are still on the bubble for the most part when it comes to making a run at the postseason but getting a great trade at the deadline could be the difference between struggling to get into the playoffs and securing a decent seed.

One player that is garnering a lot of attention as the deadline approaches is Evan Turner, as the Philadelphia Sixers have made no secret about wanting to trade him away fro draft picks. We’ve heard that the Oklahoma City Thunder could be in on Turner but Sam Amico from FOX Sports is reporting that the Los Angeles Clippers, Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns are all interested in Turner as well.

"As FOX Sports Ohio reported early in the season, the 76ers are also very open to moving forward Thaddeus Young and center Spencer Hawes. The Suns, Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks are all especially intrigued, according to FSO sources."

We’ve actually been hearing a lot about the surging Suns recently, including on the Evan Turner front. They have the picks to pull of a big trade, but they may turn their attention towards Pau Gasol over Turner. Atlanta and Los Angeles are both bubble teams looking for one more key player to secure them as contenders, and it could end up being that Turner is that guy for them.
