The Seattle Seahawks defense dominated the game from start to finish leading for all but 12 seconds of the game. During the Vince Lombardi Trophy presentation, head coach Pete Carroll praised the defense and the fans and said they let the Denver Broncos score, jokingly of course.

From NFL.com:

"Carroll then counted off all of the team and personal achievements — and there were many on this night. He singled out defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and called out special attention to Seahawks fans, explaining that the famed 12th man is “a real thing.”“Hey defense, we finally let them score on the last play of the third quarter,” Carroll sarcastically cracked, drawing boos."

That was the only score the Broncos had, and they converted the two-point conversion to make things interesting. Carroll didn’t clarify if they let them have that as well.
