The Los Angeles Lakers finally got two time MVP and future Hall-of-Fame point guard Steve Nash back from injury on Tuesday night when the Lakers traveled to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves Tuesday night. Nash started the game at point guard. Another point guard, Steve Blake, also returned from injury and started the game at shooting guard alongside Nash. Jordan Farmar, yet another point guard who has also battled through injuries this season, will also return soon.
It isn’t all good on the injury front – power forward Pau Gasol is out until after the All-Star break with a strained right groin.
During the first quarter of Tuesday’s game with the Timberwolves, another Lakers’ guard went down with an injury.
Jodie Meeks sprained his right ankle, coming down on Brewer's foot, and will not return. Blake has 2 PF's, Young's playing SG.

Meeks is one of the few Lakers’ that has been relatively healthy this year and has even joked about not being called a point guard to help him avoid injuries. Meeks is averaging 14.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game this season.
