The NBA trade deadline is right around the corner which means players are starting to be discussed now more than they ever have. Each year it seems one player dominates the rumor mill, as last year we saw Josh Smith be discussed like crazy only to have him not be traded by Atlanta.

Evan Turner seems to be that guy this year as he’s been discussed by everyone from the Charlotte Bobcats to the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers. Turner was asked recently about his name coming up in so many rumors and the Sixers guard says he’s not paying attention to any of them.

There’s a really good chance that Turner is traded before the deadline, although as we saw with Josh Smith last year it’s not a certainty that he’s on the move. Philly has more than a few suitors though and Turner will likely welcome the chance to play for a contender.
