The Utah Jazz are one of the teams that came up in the endless Andrew Bynum discussions but seeing their name pop up again isn’t a likely thing. The Jazz don’t appear to be in a rush to make any trades before the deadline and will likely stand pat as the deadline passes.

According to Chad Ford from ESPN.com, the Jazz aren’t going to be making any moves unless they get blown away by an offer for Richard Jefferson or Marvin Williams before February 20th.

This seems to be in line with the thinking the Jazz had when the Andrew Bynum rumors surfaced. They were reluctant to give up Jefferson then, but he has stated that he’s not afraid to be traded to a contender to chase a ring. The Jazz aren’t in that kind of a position this year which means that Jefferson could be gone.

Cap space and picks are important to the Jazz which means Jefferson could go if the right deal comes along and the same goes for Marvin Williams as well.
