The San Diego Chargers will stay at Qualcomm Stadium for another season. They have a clause they could exercise that would allow them terminate their lease.

From the team’s website:

"Every year since 2007 the lease between the City of San Diego and the San Diego Chargers has permitted the team to terminate the lease at any time between February 1 and May 1 of each calendar year with the delivery by the team to the City of a termination fee. Each year since 2007, the team has announced at around this same time of year that it is not terminating its lease and instead is continuing to work on stadium solutions here in the San Diego region.  The team made the very same announcement again today."

“The team is continuing to work, as we have for more than a decade, on stadium solutions in San Diego, and we will not be triggering the out clause in our lease in 2014,” Mark Fabiani, Special Counsel to the President of the San Diego Chargers, said.
