When it comes to the NBA Draft, usually you can’t stop players from climbing over themselves to get to the big show. But for Kansas big man and potential No. 1 overall pick Joel Embiid, the NBA Draft isn’t as appealing to him as it is to others and the shy kid from Cameroon is seriously considering skipping the 2014 NBA Draft to return to the Jayhawks next season.

Jeff Goodman from ESPN.com reports that Embiid hasn’t decided why he’s going to do yet, but staying at Kansas remains strong option for him.

"“I’m not even thinking about it right now,” Embiid said. “I’ll make a decision after the season, but I’m definitely considering coming back to school.”"

This isn’t the first time that Embiid staying at Kansas another year has come up, which means that the big man skipping the NBA Draft this year is growing more and more likely. Embiid doesn’t have to make a quick decision as the deadline for him to declare isn’t until late April, but teams who are coveting the big man may have start looking at other options atop the NBA Draft this June.
