The New England Patriots were exposed a few years ago for some shady tactics when it came to how they beat the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl and the whole ‘Spygate’ scandal was brought about simply by an intern being busted filming the New York Jets practice back in 2007.

Matt Estrella was the intern who was busted, but during his tenure with the Patriots he was able to get a Super Bowl ring thanks to the Patriots winning Super Bowl XXXIV. According to ESPNBoston, that ring is now up for auction as football memorabilia collectors can own a piece of scandalous NFL history.

Goldin Auctions is selling the ring, which is already going to bring in over $6.700 on the block. The ring is not only a coveted piece of Super Bowl memorabilia, as not everyone gets a Super Bowl ring, and not every ring was owned by a guy who helped drop the veil on the Patriots success in the early 2000s.
