Multiple teams are expected to show interest in free agent tight end Jermichael Finley, including the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants.

But if Finley has his way, he’d prefer to stay right where he’s at and remain with the Green Bay Packers for the rest of his career.

Finley’s agent recently spoke to the New York Post and declared such, though said if things don’t work out with the Packers, he will explore other opportunities – including with the aforementioned Giants.

"“Right now he is a Packer and I know he would love to play his entire career there,’’ Finley’s agent, Blake Baratz, said in an email to The Post. “For the next five weeks or so they have his exclusive negotiation rights. If it doesn’t work out in Green Bay for whatever reason then I believe there are a number of teams that could use a talent like Jermichael.’’"

Bring Finley back would be somewhat risky for the Packers given the injury concern and the fact he’ll want a significant amount of money. That said, he’s a clear upgrade over what they’d be able to replace him with.

Finley has reportedly been working out, running routes and catching balls and is expected to be cleared for contact in the coming weeks.
