The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot of needs to address in the draft. Owner Shad Khan said they’d be taking a quarterback, maybe even two, though he didn’t say if it’d be with their first pick.

“I think there’s no mystery that we’re going to be taking a quarterback and maybe two,” Khan said, via the Florida Times-Union. “It’s one of the maxims in modern football — the quarterback is key. You will get no debate on that. It’s 53 people on a team, but that one person really, really makes a difference.”

General manager Dave Caldwell said that the Jaguars have an idea of who their top five guys are heading into the draft. He doesn’t suggest who would is included in that short list, but you’d have to think there are at least a couple of quarterbacks.

“There’s a consensus here,” Caldwell said, via the team’s website. “We have a good idea who our top five guys might be, but that’s going to differ from team to team. It’s hard to get a consensus among your own building, and the whole league.”
