It’s no secret that Michael Vick‘s time with the Philadelphia Eagles has officially run out now that Nick Foles has proved himself. But that doesn’t mean that his time in the NFL has come to an end. Vick is still a talented player and has a lot to offer to teams who are looking to upgrade at the position.

Vick has always been a talented quarterback, his only downfall was missing that period of time because of the crime he committed. I know, I know, “why are you bringing it back up? he paid his dues?”. Because nothing like that ever goes away.

Anyways, according to NFL.com, an NFL executive said that Michael Vick is the best quarterback on the market and will land a starting job this off-season. The executive said:

"“There are too many teams that are in need of an upgrade for him not to be looked at as a starter. I could see a team signing him, and developing a young guy. Vick could be a very good bridge starter for two to three years.” via NFL.com"

Guys like Matt Cassel will be a quarterback that could get some attention thrown in his direction. He didn’t do that terrible with the Minnesota Vikings. Right now it’ll come down to who will be the cheapest.

Vick’s thrown for over 21,000 yards in his career, with 128 touchdowns and 85 interceptions. It’ll be interesting to see who lands him, but I could see him trying things out in Jacksonville.
