Yulia Lipnitskaya: Russian 15-year-old figure skater’s stunning short routine (Video)

On Saturday, the world was introduced to 15-year-old Russian figure skating prodigy Yulia Lipnitskaya, who instantly became one of the stars of the 2014 Winter Olympics in her home country.

Lipnitskaya took the ice for the short program during the Team Figure Skating competition in Sochi, where she showcased her flawless and graceful routine.

Many say that Lipnitskaya reminds them of former United States star Tara Lipinski, including the former Olympic gold medal winner herself.

If you didn’t catch Lipnitskaya’s routine on Saturday, the world is still talking about it and she is set to take the ice on Sunday afternoon to complete the Team Figure Skating competition and bring them home their first gold medal of the Sochi Games.
