Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer listed as game-time decision against Atlanta Hawks

The Chicago Bulls are coming off of a nice road win against the LA Lakers on Sunday afternoon, but in the midst of that, their starting power forward has missed the past two games and is now being listed as a game-time decision for Tuesday night.
Per the team’s official Twitter account, Carlos Boozer’s status is very much up in the air as the Bulls host the Atlanta Hawks at the United Center on Tuesday. Boozer is technically the leading scorer for Chicago (14.8 points per game) after the trade of Luol Deng and the injury to Derrick Rose, and without him, the well-documented offensive woes becomes even more magnified for the Bulls.
If Boozer can’t go, Chicago does have a fantastic backup power forward in Taj Gibson, but when they face-off with the Hawks, the strength of their opponent is at that position in the form of Paul Millsap. Boozer’s availability will likely not be announced for a few hours, but with a motivated Atlanta team (having lost 3 in a row) in town, Tom Thibodeau’s club could really use Boozer in the lineup.
