The New York Knicks are starting to rebound after an embarrassing start to their season that saw their head coach’s future get throw into doubt and saw drama arise about whether or not Carmelo Anthony will return to New York next season.
Winning can help cure these kinds of problems, although despite the recent turnaround, it appears Mike Woodson will still be fired and Melo is going to almost certainly opt-out of his contract at the end of the season. Still, there are times when it’s just nice to get away from the game and the drama and that’s what the Knicks players tried to do at Knicks Bowl 15.
Knicks Bowl is an annual charity event that the team holds in New York to raise money, and it’s also a chance for fans to get better acquainted with the team. For rookie Tim Hardaway Jr, the night was spent getting better acquainted with the New York Knicks dancers.
It’s not always easy being a rookie in the NBA and it’s definitely not easy to ever be on the New York Knicks roster. But as Hardaway found out this week, being on the Knicks certainly does have its perks.
