The Baltimore Ravens missed the playoff this season, but they are trying to make strides in the offseason that will return them to the postseason and set them up to reclaim a Super Bowl title. One way to ensure that the team is better in 2014 is to make some changes on defense, and that’s something the Ravens plan on doing at some point this offseason.

According to Jeff Zrebiec from the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens will definitely be looking at ways to upgrade their defensive line this offseason.

"But still, there remain a lot of unknowns with the defensive line group. While it hasn’t been mentioned much as one of the Ravens’ needs, the defensive line is certainly something that the Ravens can’t and likely won’t ignore."

It’s not clear if the Ravens will do this through the draft or do so in fee agency, or possibly both, but it seems the team wants to get better upfront.

How they go about doing that is a mystery but it’s clearly on their to-do list for 2014.
