With the NBA trade deadline approaching rapidly, talks between teams are going to heat up but so too are rumors regarding various players. One such rumor at the moment has the Milwaukee Bucks looking into possibly trading for Eric Gordon, but this may not be as true as it seems.

According to Bill Ingram from Basketball Insiders, the Bucks have not been scouting Eric Gordon and are not pursuing him in a trade.

This seems to make sense, as the Bucks want to tank but they don’t want to infect themselves with Eric Gordon along the way. A trade for Gordon could work out long term, but it appears the Bucks are more content shooting for the best odds at the No. 1 pick than trading for Gordon and possibly getting even worse.
