Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is headed towards free agency after a disappointing 2013 season. Maclin tore his anterior cruciate ligament in July and missed the entire season. Still, he remains hopeful that he will reach a deal with the Eagles.

From Philadelphia Inquirer‘s Zach Berman:

"“I’ve always stated, this is where I want to be. The Eagles have stated the same thing,” Maclin said Saturday morning at the NovaCare Complex before the Philadelphia Soul tryouts. “We’ll continue to get on the same page with all that and get something done.”"

The Eagles also don’t need to worry about whether he’ll be ready, Maclin says there is “no question” he’ll be ready for training camp.

"“Training camp is no question,” Maclin said. “OTAs I’ll be able to run around and stuff, probably just without contact. I’m in a very good place at this stage of my rehab.”"

At that point it will have been a year after Maclin’s injury, so he’d have had a full 12 months to recover.
