Kobe Bryant has had a frustrating NBA season to say the least. Rehab. Injury. Rehab. Then he received the votes to play in the All-Star game but refused to because he simply hasn’t been on the court enough to earn it – even if he was healthy enough to play.

Bryant did attend the weekend festivities though. During his interviews with the media, Bryant said he want to return, next time as a participant.

"I hope so, I hope so. When you’re playing in an All-Star Game, that means you’re one of the best players in the world. That’s obviously a big goal of mine to be there. But it’s tough coming here, though, because normally when you come here your competitive juices are already flowing. Now it’s kind of looking at it from a different perspective, but you also get a chance to soak it all in a little bit more, kind of sit back and watch and observe, which has its own fun element to it."

Bryant said he still has hopes of playing this season and he just needs to stay the course with his rehab to make it happen.
