Over the last few years, Los Angeles Lakers’ power forward Pau Gasol has been at the center of trade rumors.
Although it doesn’t look like the Lakers are going to move Gasol (and star guard Kobe Bryant doesn’t want them to deal Gasol), several teams, including the Charlotte Bobcats, have inquired about his availability.
Gasol wants to stay in Los Angeles and just wants to get the next two days over with.
Pau: "I'm sure there are other things on the table. Hopefully, these two days will go by, and we'll be talking about something else."

In other news, Gasol scrimmaged on Tuesday and looked good, but likely won’t play when the Lakers welcome Dwight Howard and the Houston Rockets to the Staples Center Wednesday night.
Pau had a very strong scrimmage here in Lakers practice, though Kaman just hit a jumper over Pau to win the game.

Pau's tone sounds as if he will not play tomorrow vs. Rockets despite practicing today after groin injury.
