The NBA trade deadline is less than two days away which means that talks around the league are getting more and more serious. One player being talked about a lot is Boston Celtics guard Rajon Rondo, who has heard his name go from mildly discussed to actively mentioned about every five seconds.

Sacramento, Toronto and New York have been after him and are serious about acquiring him, but we will have to continue to hear all the rumors until the very last minute, as that’s the only time when a deal would go down. According to Sam Amick from USA Today, the GMs interested in Rondo know that he’ll only be moved at the very last possibly moment.

This is expected, as the Celtics would be trading a franchise player and would need to take every possible second to consider all options. This doesn’t mean that Rondo will be traded — as that still seems unlikely — but if a deal happens we will have to wait until the final moments before the deadline passes for it to go down.
