The NBA trade deadline is approaching fast, which means that there are teams out there gearing up to make runs at the players they covet. The Orlando Magic have been playing it cool as the deadline approaches, both listening to offers but also tossing lines out into the market to see what bites.

So far, Arron Afflalo has been the most coveted piece the Magic have and it appears they may deal him at the deadline. While it’s impossible to say if the Magic will or not, as some say he’s for sure staying while others are saying he’s for sure being traded, we have finally gotten a price on Afflalo from the Magic.

ESPN Insider Chad Ford notes that the Magic are looking to seek very, very high on Afflalo and are asking for young players, multiple first-round picks or possibly even both.

This is a ridiculous price and it’s probably not going to be meet — which might be the point. Either way, the magic are selling high on Afflalo and if Ford is correct, the Magic will either walk away from the deadline rich with Afflalo’s talents or rich with someone else’s draft picks.
