The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens had to flip a coin to determine who would get the 16th and 17th draft position. Today, that coin was flipped and the NFL’s Director of NFC Football Communications Randall Liu tweeted out the results.
The Cowboys will draft in 16th, and the Ravens will pick 17th.
Liu even tweeted out a photo of the result, and you can see they had a special Cowboys/Ravens coin minted strictly for the occasion. You know, because a quarter or silver dollar wouldn’t work.

In the long run the jockeying for positions doesn’t necessarily mean a whole lot since they’re apart, but now mock drafts everywhere will have the correct order. It’ll be interesting to see what either team does in the draft, or if Jerry Jones is active moving up or down the draft order this year.
