The Boston Celtics are looking to possibly make a move at the deadline, and that has a lot of people discussing the recent price tag put on Rajon Rondo. Before this week, all the trade talks about Rondo were rumors but after placing a price tag on the guard, things have heated up.

According to Ric Bucher, the Celtics are looking to sell high on more than just Rondo if someone comes calling. He states that Boston is looking for first-round picks on not only Rondo but also Jeff Green, and that’s where all trade discussions for the two players will start.

"For those who feast on the deadline rumor mill, be thankful for the relentlessly restless Boston Celtics GM Danny Ainge. The Celtics, league sources say, are mining interest in both Jeff Green and Rajon Rondo, looking for an up-and-coming player and a first-round pick for starters on each."

This is sort of like selling tickets you intend on keeping on StubHub at a ridiculous price, just to see if anyone bites. It’s possible that the Celtics trade Rondo or Green, but they clearly won’t be going cheap.
