The Charlotte Bobcats have been all over the map and on almost everyone’s trade deadline radar since they decided to start winning for a change. The good season the team is turning in has them hankering for a playoff run, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to make splashy trades like they were rumored to be.

According to CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger, despite rumors swirling about a a possible deal the Bobcats never got far in their pursuit of Evan Turner and have now turned their focus over to acquiring Gary Neal from the Milwaukee Bucks.

This isn’t what Bobcats fans wanted to hear, as Gary Neal is hardly the splashy name everyone was envisioning. Still, he’s an improvement and if the Bobcats can give up less than what they were going to give up for Turner, then they may come out ahead after the deadline.
