The NBA trade deadline is almost here and names of players are both being thrown out onto the block and pulled back as well. One player who has had a whirlwind month of rumors fired his way, is Detroit Pistons big man Greg Monroe. The Pistons have been adamant that they won’t be trading Monroe, so it’s no surprise whatsoever that with around 24 hours left to go until the deadline, they’re still sending out signals that Monroe will stay.

Jared Zwerling updated the world on the epic trade talks between the Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets, but threw in a Greg Monroe update for desert.

A Monroe update at this point really only warrants that kind of attention, as it’s a dessert and no longer a main entrée type of rumor.

Still, the Pistons will likely be getting calls about Monroe right up until the deadline, but it’s unlikely they’ll hear anything remotely entice them to trade their big man.
