The NBA trade deadline is approaching fast and that means deals are going to start getting discussed more and more. One such deal that has popped up involves the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers swapping point guards, as Adrian Wojnarowski reports the two teams are working on a deal that centers around Iman Shumpert.

Per Woj, the Clippers would be sending Darren Collison to the Knicks in exchange for Iman Shumpert and Raymond Felton.

"In proposed deals, the Clippers would send the Knicks a package that includes point guard Darren Collison for Shumpert and point guard Raymond Felton, sources told Yahoo Sports."

The Knicks have been looking for point guard help and they’ve been willing to deal Shumpert in other discussed deals. Felton has been expendable since the Kyle Lowry talks back in late 2013 and the Clippers appear willing to get both on roster to put depth behind Chris Paul.

Nothing is official, but this is one of a few deals that appear closer to being done than others that are floating around.
