The Brooklyn Nets and Sacramento Kings seem to be not he verge of the biggest trade of the deadline, as the two teams talked through the night about exchanging Marcus Thornton for Jason Terry and Reggie Evans.

After Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports reported that talks had reached a serious stage, fellow NBA scribe Jared Zwerling noted that one source told him that the trade was close to happening.

So far nothing official has been agreed upon in principle, but it does appear that we’re nearing that stage. Barring some major change, it looks like this trade is going to happen, it’s only a matter of if the Nets are comfortable sending away two pieces to land Thornton and the Kings find that there’s no better option for trading their guard away at the deadline.
