NBA Trade Rumors: Phoenix Suns to pursue Luol Deng trade?

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been looking to possibly make a move, but no one knew how seriously to take them given all the front office changes. But Wednesday brought reports that the Cavs are fearful Luol Deng won’t re-sign with the team in the offseason which is prompting them to officially shop him in trades.
According to ESPN insider Chad Ford, the Phoenix Suns appear to be the best fit for Deng and could likely offer the best package as well.
"Cavs know he’s unhappy and he’s an unrestricted free agent this summer… If a team like the Suns can offer the Cavs so real assets, long-term, it’s the best move. Yes, the Cavs are a mess, but the fact that they are even exploring moving Deng says they are probably starting to think more clearly than in any other time in the last 10 months."
Cleveland is starting to win, and one of the biggst knocks on the organization has been their unwillingness to allow talent to develop together. They may trade Deng to Phoenix — or someone else — but they’re far from a lock to do so.
