The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in trade rumors since early on in January after they traded for Luol Deng out of the blue. But while they’ve been quiet since that trade, Cleveland is starting to get more and more active as the deadline on Thursday afternoon approaches.

One trade being discussed is a potential three-team deal that would send Jarrett Jack to the Sacramento Kings.

Cleveland may not make a trade before the deadline passes, but it’s very clear that they’re trying to make something happen, even if they’re just the middle man in a bigger trade.

How about taking another swing at brook Lopez… the nets are getting killed on the glass and cuz use some youth and draft picks.

    Sacramento gets: J.Jack
    Cleveland gets: Brook

Brooklyn gets: Varejao, Thompson, 2 first rounders (better of Cleveland or Miami’s 2015 & Memphis lottery protected first round)

    Who says no?

So what do the Cavs get in this Onion type satire?

I’ve got a better idea. Nets give the Cavs their starting PG, Starting PF, Starting C and 2 1st round draft picks for one of our bigs that gets killed on the glass like say, Henry Sims. Only seems fair.

Then it hits me that this Lopez dude must have a salary that is nearly the same as all those players and draft compensation. You seriously think a team is going to give away 3 starters and 2 first round picks for one player that’s not very good?
