Tampa Bay Buccaneers new helmet: What will it look like?

On Tuesday, Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Warren Sapp announced that the team would be getting new helmets and a new logo that will be unveiled on Thursday night.

While we are waiting to see what the Buccaneers have in store, there has been plenty of discussion and speculation about what the new look could be.

On message boards around the web, Buccaneers fans have been speculating what the logo and helmet may look like in 2014 as they share a number of concept photos. After taking a look at some of the photos (which are certainly impressive) I decided to put them together in one easy GIF.

Take a look at some of the ideas floating around:

Out of all of the looks, the white helmet is a personal favorite. It is a tribute to the old creamsicle jerseys that the Buccaneers have worn in the past, but it is unlikely to be the design because it shares the same logo that the team currently uses.

The black helmet with just the skull and swords is also pretty cool looking, but only time will tell what the change will be.

keep it the way it is. Don’t understand why they would change it. I’m sure what ever it is it will cost a lot of cash. But like everything when change comes most will get use to it ?

I’ve heard that the pewter is staying the same and that the ear holes will be black and some sort of orange stripe under the logo. I’m kind of excited about incorporating orange back in. Could make for some nice alternate uniform combos.
