One day after being suspended indefinitely from the National Football League for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, things took an unfortunate turn for the worse for Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis as he was arrested and charged with DUI on Thursday afternoon.

Davis had a history of substance abuse violations before this, being suspended in 2011 for going against the policy.

However, this is just a sad turn of events for the free agent as now he’s dug an even deeper hole for himself and has really shown that he needs to get the help necessary before he even thinks about stepping foot on a football field ever again before its too late and something worse happens.
