Just when we thought this trade deadline was going to pass without any major last minute deals, the Indiana Pacers go off and give us what we all wanted. In a deal that went right down to the wire and wasn’t announced until well after the deadline had passed, the Indiana Pacers have traded Danny Granger to the Philadelphia 76ers for Evan Turner and Lavoy Allen.

We were all wondering if, when or where Turner was going to nd up after being the most talked about trade chip of the deadline. When the deadline passed and he hadn’t been announced as being traded, many thought that the 76ers fumbled away a chance to move him.

Turner heading to Indiana is a shocker of a deal as no one expected the Pacers to be active, let alone go after the most popular trade chip of the deadline. They came out of nowhere to acquire Turner and have landed the most surprising trade of the deadline.
