With under an hour to go until the trade deadline arrives, the Minnesota Timberwolves are trying to get a trade going that can hep them get some more wins, be more consistent and keep Kevin Love happy. After watching trade talks with the Memphis Grizzlies blow up in their faces on Wednesday, the Timberwolves are having more problems finding deals that they may or may not be looking for, depending on who you’re listening to from the front office.

While it appeared that a deal was in the works, Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports has shot down all of the Timberwolves hopes by stating that it’s not likely the teams will be able to swap Barea for Jack.

While the Wolves have said they wouldn’t be active, it appears that they were not being totally truthful about their deadline intentions. Whether it was the Wolves nixing the deal or not, the fact of the matter remains the team isn’t likely to make any moves before the deadline passes.
