The Indiana Pacers were not mentioned in hardly any rumors heading into the 11th hour of the trade deadline this year, but they managed to pull off the most surprising trade of the season. After surprising everyone by acquiring Andrew Bynum for a postseason run, the Pacers have surprised people once again and added some potentially scorching offense in Evan Turner from the Philadelphia 76ers.
Many though Turner would be on the move, and it was a shock to have not heard his name when the deadline passed. But a late announcement is still an announcement as the Pacers landed Turner in exchange for Danny Granger and Twitter went berserk.
I hope all this tanking gets the Sixers a high pick so they have the opportunity to draft a guy like Evan Turner.

horrible trade for Philly though.. Evan Turner too young and promising to trade for an expiring — Naija Papi. (@iTripCripples) February 20, 2014
Evan Turner is just another guy, man. He’s been just another guy since he walked into the league. He’s a garbage time savant tho — Donterrorist Thomas (@klew24) February 20, 2014
Evan Turner and Andrew Bynum will play meaningful basketball this year. What a world!
