The NBA trade deadline has brought about another move, as the Philadelphia 76ers announced on Thursday morning that they had traded Spencer Hawes to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for two second-round picks.

By moving Hawes, the Sixers are now $11.7 million under that salary floor and can take on a giant contract in a trade without having to give hardly any salary back. The Cavaliers win in this as well, acquiring a big man they can now use in the second half of the season as they attempt to turn things around.

Twitter was abuzz all week with trade talk, and fans were quick to react to the Spencer Hawes trade news when it happened.
