It seems as if Jay Z is building quite the impressive list of athletes who are represented by Hov and his Roc Nation Sports.
While Jay isn’t the first hip hop mogul to have his own sports agency (Master P of No Limit Records had his own and Cash Money Records is said to be potentially entering the business) he’s certainly been the most successful, at least in terms of name clients.
The former Tar Heel announced the signing on Twitter.
In all honesty, it’s probably a better move for Nicks than it is for Roc Nation given the contracts the firm has been able to secure for their athletes.
Nicks comes off a relatively sub-par season with the New York Giants, but should be one of the more in-demand wideouts on the open market this offseason.
