All 32 NFL teams are currently in Indianapolis for the 2014 NFL Scouting Combine, and there is some interesting buzz being generated around Lucas Oil Stadium. According to the Boston Globe, there is “a lot of buzz” at the combine that former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano could be joining the New England Patriots’ coaching staff.

The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin wrote:

The Patriots and Buccaneers have had a good relationship in the past with the two sides working out trades for LeGarrette Blount and Aqib Talib. Belichick has also endorsed Schiano as a head coach before, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if Schiano were to join Belichick’s staff.

The only question would be what position Schiano would hold on the team’s coaching staff, though you would have to assume it would be on the defensive side of the ball.
