After winning Super Bowl XLVIII, it is only natural that the Seattle Seahawks will be in danger of losing many of their top free agents as teams around the league look to add a Super Bowl champion to their roster.

So when free agency kicks off in March, Seattle will need to immediately decide which players they cannot afford to lose and quickly make them some offers.

As far as general manager John Schneider is concerned, re-signing wide receiver Golden Tate is going to be a big priority.

“Golden knows where we stand how much we love and how much we want him on this team,” Schneider said, via ESPN.com.

The Seahawks wide receivers have done a great job at stepping up and making plays for quarterback Russell Wilson, but if Tate were to leave the team would have a major hole on the outside.

Tate had previously said he would be open to a hometown discount that would allow him to remain with the Seahawks, so it looks like both sides are on the same page and will be able to get a deal done.
