The New York Knicks made zero trades at the deadline on Thursday but are making moves after the fact in the form of contract buyouts. With news that the team is going to buyout Metta World Peace, so too comes news that guard Beno Udrih will be hitting the market as well.

Howard Beck confirmed that the Knicks were indeed in the process of buying out Udrih.

The Knicks thought that they were going to have a trade with the Denver Nuggets to dump Udrih, but Denver instead acquired Aaron Brooks from the Houston Rockets. With the Knicks to soon be behind him, the chances of Udrih landing with the Spurs is relatively high.

Udrih was rumored as possibly heading to San Antonio in a trade, but the team is scanning the buyout market and may jump on Udrih when he becomes available later this week.
