The San Antonio Spurs have been looking to make a move recently but they failed to pull the trigger on a trade before the deadline passed. But while they stood pat at the deadline, the Spurs are looking at perhaps an even more meaningful deadline in the March 1st buyout deadline.

According to Susan Bible from Basketball Insiders, the Spurs are a team to keep an eye on when it comes to Danny Granger, should he be bought out by the Philadelphia 76ers.

"Miami and San Antonio are the two potential landing spots. Yeah, Miami needs another scorer, right? So to answer your question, I’d say the chances of him signing with the Spurs are right around 50%."

Another name to keep an eye on is Beno Udrih, who is in the process of being bought out by the New York Knicks. The Spurs were rumored to have interest in the Knicks guard before the deadline, and if those rumors hold water than he could be on San Antonio’s radar. The Spurs are looking at the buyout market before they re-sign Shannon Brown, and both Granger and Udrih are names that could resurface later this week.
