Offensive tackle Branden Albert will be one of the top offensive tackles available in free agency, and there continue to be reports that the Arizona Cardinals will be one of the favorites to land the Pro Bowler.
The Kansas City Chiefs have already come to realize that Albert is likely walking in free agency, so now other teams can begin looking at whether or not Albert will be a good fit for their team.
If the Cardinals fail to snag Albert in free agency, then offensive tackle will be a first-round target for the team.
NFL Draft insider Tony Pauline wrote:
"I’m told the Arizona Cardinals will make a big run at Branden Albert if he hits free agency as expected. If they don’t come away with Albert sources say the Cardinals will look offensive tackle in round one."
Along with the Cardinals, the Miami Dolphins will be a team that is expected to look long and hard at Albert.
Miami and Kansas City were involved in trade talks for Albert last season and their glaring needs along the offensive line make him an obvious target.
