Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has made it abundantly clear on numerous occasions that he wants to be a starting signal caller in the National Football League in 2014. However, with the emergence of Nick Foles last season in Philly, it seems highly unlikely that that team will be his current one that he will be starting for.

But, how about a move just a little over an hour away to the Meadowlands and the New York Jets?

Well, according to Ian Rappoport of NFL.com, from folks that he’s talked to this week, that seems a lot more probable than some people may think.

With the team fully expected to release the QB that took them to two consecutive AFC Championship Games at one point, Mark Sanchez, and Geno Smith not seeming to be entirely ready to handle things on his own, Vick could be a nice quick fix for Rex Ryan and company, assuming that he can stay healthy.
