The NFL Draft is in a few months and the Scouting Combine this weekend has a lot of fans and teams focusing on the incoming draft class. By way of the Robert Griffin III trade in 2012, the St. Louis Rams own a very coveted pick atop the draft and are slotted No. 2 overall at the moment.

At the moment is key, as the team may not stay at No. 2 for long. According to Peter King in his weekly MMQB, the Rams are looking at trading their pick and are very interested in moving down in the draft.

"I’ll take this shot at the top 10, though the Rams certainly will have a chance to trade the second pick, and will be very interested in doing so."

King was hashing out an impossible to mock top 10 for the NFL draft, noting that things get even more complicated with St. Louis’ willingness to move down. The draft is deep and the Rams have a chance to pick up another second rounder if they move down with someone desperate to get into the top 3.
