The Washington Wizards are desperately trying to get back to the postseason. With a record of 28-28, they are currently the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, 1.5 games behind the Chicago Bulls for the fourth seed and hosting a playoff game in the first round of the playoffs.

The Wizards dealt point guard Eric Maynor to the Philadelphia 76ers and forward Jan Vesely to the Denver Nuggets in order to acquire veteran point guard Andre Miller from the Nuggets to give All-Star John Wall a solid backup.

According to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo.com, the Wizards are on the verge of making another move.

Gooden played in 16 games for the Milwaukee Bucks last season, averaging 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game.

He has played for the Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers, Bucks and now the Wizards in his 12-year career.
