We all saw this one coming, but it’s far from a certainty to happen. Still, with news that the Sacramento Kings are in the process of buying out Jimmer Fredette, the New York Knicks are apparently mulling him as an option to fix there season or at least make things more exciting.

According to Yahoo! Sports guru Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks are one of a few potential suitors for Jimmer if and/or when he gets bought out by the Kings.

The Knicks seemed to be an option from the start for Fredette but he’s going to want to pick a team that will give him ample amount playing time so he an properly showcase himself for free agency. The Knicks may not be able to afford the minutes, but they’d definitely be able to provide the stage Jimmer needs to draw serious attention in the NBA.
