Less than a year after he was acquired, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are starting to get trade calls and inquires about cornerback Darrelle Revis and whether or not he’s available. According to CBSSports.com reporter Jason La Canfora, the Buccaneers aren’t shopping Revis but apparently aren’t shooing away teams calling about him either.
Teams calling the Bucs to inquire about Darrelle Revis, and some rival execs believe he is ripe to be dealt at start of league year ...

Given his age and huge salary, not sure Bucs could get too much for him, but its worth monitoring as March 11 approaches

The Buccaneers gave up a first-round draft pick last year to land Revis, and it’s a guarantee that they’d receive much less than that if he were to be traded before the season starts. He was once the best cornerback in the game, but Revis’ value continues to decline and he’d field a second round pick at best and not much more in a trade.
Still, there’s no certainty that the Bucs will trade Revis as this isn’t the first trade rumor we’ve heard and it likely won’t be the last.
