On Wednesday morning, a report surfaced that the Sacramento Kings were going to bring forward Royce White in for a workout.

According to Sam Amick of the USA Today, it looks like the Kings will sign White to a 10-day contract.

"The Sacramento Kings recently worked out 22-year-old forward and mental health advocate Royce White and are likely to sign him to a 10-day contract, two people with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because no deal had yet been finalized."

White is a very a talented player who was selected with the 16th overall pick of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets.

However, White has battled anxiety disorder and believed the Rockets did not offer him the support he needed. In the summer, he was dealt to the Philadelphia 76ers, but things did not work out there either and he was released before the regular season started.

It is good to see White get another shot in the NBA.

The Kings will also reportedly sign guard Orlando Johnson to a 10-day contract.
