Defensive end Jared Allen seemed to come to terms with the fact that he would no longer be a member of the Minnesota Vikings after the end of last season and now the time has come for Allen to hit free agency and learn where his new home will be.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be a potential landing spot. Considering the Buccaneers new defensive coordinator is Leslie Frazier, it is a natural fit.

The real question will be how much Allen is looking to get when he signs on with a new team. If his expectations are unrealistic, then he could be waiting a long time to find a new suitor. If he understands that he is a situational pass rusher at best, he could take less money and provide a boost to the pass rush of any team he is in desperate need of that help.
