Bucks at Pacers: Indiana hangs on 101-96

Roy Hibbert scored 24 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots as the Indiana Pacers held off the Milwaukee Bucks to earn a 101-96 victory at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana Thursday night.

Paul George added 18 points, eight rebounds and six assists and Lance Stephenson chipped in 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.

The Pacers outscored the Bucks by 15 in the the first quarter and looked like they were going to run away with the game, but the Bucks had a 35-20 advantage in the second quarter to tie the game. The Pacers shut the Bucks down in the third quarter, taking a seven-point lead into the fourth quarter.

However, the Bucks battled back, cutting the lead to three with just 1:55 to play. The Pacers scored on their next three possessions, a jumper by George, two free throws by Hibbert and an 11-footer from Hibbert while making consecutive stops in between to put the game away.

Brandon Knight led the Bucks with 23 points and five assists, Khris Middleton had 22 points, O.J. Mayo scored 14 and Ramon Sessions added 13.

The Pacers are now 44-13 while the Bucks are 11-46.
